Job Description

Sydney Water is looking for a dedicated and experienced Property Workplace Program Manager to lead the implementation of our Workplace Strategy aiming to optimise our workplace portfolio to support a productive diverse and inclusive environment. The role offers the opportunity to oversee significant Sydney Water projects including upgrades to the Bondi Wastewater Treatment Plant Orchard Hills Water Filtration Plant and Hornsby Heights Wastewater Treatment Plant contributing to the enhancement of essential water and wastewater

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the development of Sydney Waters Property Workplace Strategy ensuring alignment with our strategic business objectives.
  • Oversee property workplace governance aligning internal and external stakeholders to maximise asset lifecycles achieve financial targets and meet regulatory obligations.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Workplace team driving continuous improvement in property asset management systems and asset performance across various facilities including workplaces training facilities warehouses depots and emergency control rooms.
  • Develop strong internal stakeholder relationships balancing business requirements with financial priorities to create safe and compliant environments
  • Lead the development and management of Project Management Plans (PMP) setting clear targets objectives KPIs scopes of work milestones risk management strategies controls costs and deliverables to meet business needs and ensure effective project delivery.
  • Regularly update senior property leaders on risks issues and opportunities ensuring the business is wellinformed

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in workplace strategy management with a strong understanding of designing and implementing workplace environments that enhance productivity and inclusivity.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
  • Indepth knowledge of relevant legislation regulations and standards related to workplace design and management.
