Job Description

Posting Summary
The Department of Food Science invites candidates for Course Assistants for the Fall 2023 semester for various undergraduate and graduate courses such as Science of Food Principles of Food Science Sensory Evaluation of Foods Food Chemistry Food Chemistry Fundamentals and possibly others to give lectures or to assist with lectures and/or lab sections. Responsible for the following: Teach all or part of course or; Assist faculty with course; may be required to provide LMS software assistance; Attend all assigned course meetings at the discretion of the faculty member teaching the course; Prepare course materials (e.g. syllabi presentations handouts reading materials etc. as directed by the faculty member; Provide constructive feedback to students as well as critical instruction regarding student work and academic standards; Provide exam reviews at the direction of the course professor; and Assist professor with grading papers and/or exams.
