Meters mission and long term ambition
Meter builds better internet infrastructure. We make it exceptionally easy for any business to have great computer networking internet and WiFi. Businesses of all sizes and industries increasingly rely on internet infrastructure for daily operations yet getting connected today is incredibly difficult. To solve this problem Meter builds and manages a vertically integrated solution across hardware software and operations. We believe people who build hardware and software should be the ones responsible for it. Our ambition is to evolve internet infrastructure into a utility.
This role is critical to Meters success
We are hiring a full stack engineer to drive the development and direction of Command. Command is a generative UI that enables dashboard creation realtime question answer and network changes all guided by freeform natural language. Customers and internal teams use Command to manage configure and achieve rapid resolution on their networks. As the product developer your efforts will shape the future of Command and define the wideranging impact it has on our customers and internal operations.
This role requires product thinking on top of a new technology stack and UI interface. We are searching for someone who wants to do the most ambitious work of their career and push the boundaries of whats possible for our customers and users. The work you do will blend cutting edge technology with realworld impact deployed to thousands of locations and millions of devices.
This role is based out of our San Francisco HQ office.
You will have an impact by
- Owning the development direction and feel for a firstofitskind product in technology and networking
- Collaborating with various teams including Meters model team application engineering operations support and QA
- Developing frontend features using Nextjs typescript and React
- Integrating and developing backend services using frameworks such as typescript Planetscale DB and QStash
- Developing projects incorporating LLMs or other AI models

Compensation
We think about Meters compensation package as a combination of salary equity benefits and the experience of working with a talented team to make the biggest impact of your career.
- The estimated pay range for this role is $148000 $180000.
- Additionally this role is eligible to participate in Meters equity plan.
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the Bay Area. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills qualifications and experience.
