Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manages candidate prehire through hire onboarding process ensuring hiring activities are completed with urgency consistency and accuracy.
  • Facilitate candidate skills testing for appropriate positions.
  • Support other recruiters as needed with onboarding tasks.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure hiring needs and scheduling are being met.
  • Responsive to incoming calls from applicants and employees answering questions and providing guidance to ensure a positive recruiting and onboarding experience.
  • Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure that HR activities are completed in accordance with HR Work Processes.
  • Thrives in a fastpaced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining consistency of service.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through various channels.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Schedule employees for drug screen background and safety council classes; communicate that to them.
  • Provide effective communication with employees and a timely resolution to their inquiries related to their onboarding process.
  • Willing and capable of working overtime as required; after hours/weekends.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years of related work experience (preferably in an industry setting).
  • High level of proficiency with DISA.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to be flexible navigate change and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Selfmotivated and driven to learn and improve.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers.
  • Effective timemanagement skills multitasking and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Discretion and the ability to keep data confidential.
