Job Description

About the Role:

Black Duck Software is looking for a highly motivated Intermediate IT Project Manager to join our team on a 6 monthcontract. In this role youll drive the successful delivery of IT projects provide PMO support and contribute to process improvement efforts. Youll work closely with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders so strong communication adaptability and collaboration skills are essential. A background in business analysis is a strong advantage.

Hybrid work environment: 23 days in the Calgary office (Downtown)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan execute and deliver IT projects on time and within scope and budget
  • Support PMO functions including status reporting risk tracking and governance processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements scope and objectives
  • Coordinate internal resources and thirdparty vendors for seamless
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Proactively identify and manage risks issues and dependencies
  • Prepare documentation such as project charters schedules and risk management and communication strategies
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to project methodology enhancements
  • Assist in business analysis activities when needed including gathering and documenting requirements and building workflows

Key Requirements:

  • 35 years of experience in IT project management or related roles (related to IT Infrastructure projects/ process implementation etc).
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or Hybrid)
  • Experience managing or supporting CRM projects (e.g. Salesforce etc.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to adapt quickly to new information and challenges
  • Experience supporting PMO functions and working in structured project environments
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset and a positive proactive attitude
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira Smartsheet
  • Background in business analysis is an asset
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT service management (ITSM)
  • PMP CAPM and/or CSM equivalent certification
