Program Summary: Bellefaire JCBs Parents and Children Together (PACT) Family Therapy Program provides intensive therapy services to families who are experiencing stress due to many factors such as social or emotional problems problems related to housing or childcare and more. Our program supports children and adolescents in coping with mental health diagnoses and helps parents to understand and manage their childs emotional and behavioral problems..
Intern Position Summary: Under the administrative/clinical supervision of the Supervisor/ Field Instructor The Parents and Children Together (PACT) Intern provides services to children and their families. Working alongside a strong clinical team you learn and grow within this role.
Intern Experience Details: As the PACT Intern you will provide the following services including but not limited to:
- Assist in providing comprehensive and evidencebased individual group and family counseling interventions to youth and their families
- Assist in conducting clinical assessments and administering treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families
- Participation in weekly team meetings and department trainings
- Other services necessary to the enrichment of the internship experience
Location: Services are provided in the community. Travel is to be expected.
Hours: Field hours are flexible. Evening work should be expected.
Qualifications:This internship is open to second year Masters level students. Therefore a Bachelors Degree is required and you must be currently enrolled in a Masters level Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy program.A SWT CT or LSW is also required.
