Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Front of House (FOH) Team Lead to join our culinary services team. As the FOH Team Lead you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for residents during the closing shift. This is a handson leadership role supervising and training staff maintaining service standards and managing daily operations in a fastpaced customerfocused environment.

Pay: Starts at $20 per hour and above based on years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist FOH staff ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service quality.
  • Train new FOH team members including effective use of the Cubigo system and understanding the point system.
  • Conduct audits provide feedback and guide staff through performance improvements.
  • Ensure FOH areas meet sanitation and infection control standards complying with organizational policies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment holding staff accountable and supporting daily operations.
  • Complete daily closing paperwork and ensure all tasks and checklists are followed.
  • Oversee grocery orders ensuring inventory is stocked and available.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with residents addressing their needs promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in required training including inservice education and Relias courses.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Serve Safe Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role within food service emphasizing customer service.
  • Proven ability to motivate discipline and lead a team effectively.
  • Strong organizational communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Certifications: Willingness to obtain TIPS certification within the first 90 days.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday.
  • Ability to stoop bend and stretch in tight spaces.
  • Capability to lift carry push and pull up to 60 pounds.
  • Comfortable working with industrial cleaning chemicals and in fastpaced environments.

Work Environment:

  • Customerfacing fastpaced setting with occasional highpressure situations.
  • Evening weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of the closing team.
