Job Description
Position Summary
Inspects maintains and repairs Metzgers buildings grounds facilities and equipment. Performs routine building maintenance tasks and general ground cleaning/maintenance.

Inspects maintains and repairs Metzgers buildings grounds facilities and equipment. Performs routine building maintenance tasks and general ground cleaning/maintenance.
Responsibilities include
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues developing effective solutions to restore functionality
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities identifying potential hazards and maintenance needs
- Performing minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures.
- Performing minor plumbing maintenance.
- Performing minor painting carpentry and masonry work
- Ordering parts and maintaining required documents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years working experience in facilities maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical plumbing and carpentry.
- Able to comprehend and apply basic mathematical principles and use a calculator and technology to the degree required to perform the job.
- Ability to read and interpret documents (such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals).
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid Drivers license and the ability to drive box truck.
