OVERVIEW:
This is a fulltime onsite role for a Project Manager based in Delta BC. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating project activities managing logistics expediting processes conducting inspections and ensuring timely delivery of project components. The Project Manager will communicate with clients vendors and team members to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Project Planning &
- Develop detailed work plans define objectives and determine evaluation measures for project success.
- Estimate and allocate resources (time budget equipment) required for project completion.
- Structure schedule and support the project team to meet field requirements performance expectations and budget targets.
- Client & Team Communication
- Liaise with clients vendors and team members to coordinate daily operations and maintain project alignment.
- Attend client meetings and provide milestone updates budgetary estimates and status reports.
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight
- Prepare and process invoices progress claims and project budgets.
- Complete subcontractor RFPs evaluate bids negotiate pricing and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
- Quality Risk & Change Management
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time within budget and meet quality standards.
- Regularly review completed work with the team and respond promptly to project issues.
- Follow internal and external change management procedures to document project changes.
- OnSite Oversight & Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance to field personnel and review work to ensure adherence to standards.
- Ensure safety requirements and inventory procedures are followed on all worksites.
- Continuous Improvement & Culture
- Identify learning opportunities from completed projects and recommend improvements to current processes.
- Promote a positive team culture uphold company policies and procedures and contribute to their ongoing development.
- Provide input on labour needs to support project and branch operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Project Management and Expediting skills
- Inspection and Logistics Management experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
- Experience in the corrosion protection industry is a plus
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management or related field considered an asset
