The Role

Were looking for a proactive and resultsdriven Field Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of renewable energy projects. From residential installations to largescale commercial developments and ongoing maintenance services youll play a key role in ensuring seamless from start to finish.

In this fastpaced role youll be working closely with our Head of Operations fellow ProjectManagers and installation teams. We want someone who thrives in a team environment but alsotakes initiative to drive success and continuously develop their skills. If you have a get stuck inattitude and love seeing projects come to life this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & : Develop and implement project plans schedules and budgets for field operations while ensuring milestones and deadlines are met within scope time and budget constraints; coordinate with stakeholders including clients subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Site Management & Supervision: Oversee daily field operations to ensure work meets quality and safety standards conduct site inspections for compliance and address any onsite issues or delays efficiently.
  • Health Safety & Compliance: Enforce health safety and environmental regulations ensuring adherence to industry standards company policies and legal requirements; conduct safety meetings risk assessments and incident investigations as needed.
  • Resource & Workforce Management: Manage onsite workforce including contractors and company staff ensuring efficient use of materials equipment and other resources while optimising productivity and costeffectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for fieldrelated inquiries provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients and address client concerns to meet their expectations.
  • Quality Assurance & ProblemSolving: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications identify potential risks with contingency planning and proactively troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

What were looking for:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Solar PV battery storage and EV systems.
  • Project Management: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing renewable energy projects.
  • Exceptional Organisational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects prioritise tasks and ensure smooth .
  • Outstanding Communication: Confidence in leading teams coordinating with clients and maintaining clear and effective communication at all levels.
  • Leadership & Team Motivation: Ability to inspire and guide installation teams and subcontractors to deliver highquality results.
  • DetailOriented & Strategic Thinker: Proactively manage risks anticipate potential issues and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Thrive in dynamic environments take a handson approach and continuously seek process improvements.
  • Risk & Compliance: Experience with risk management industry regulations and health & safety compliance.
  • Supplier & Contract Management: Ability to manage thirdparty relationships and contracts effectively.
  • Certifications: Electrical qualifications including IOSH City & Guilds and NVQ.

Extra Credit:

  • Renewable Qualifications: BPEC Solar Installer Battery Storage and EV certifications.
  • Certifications: Part P Domestic Installer Certification Gold Card and Black Card.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: First Aid plant certification CSCS SSSTS and SMSTS.
