Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate dedicated and professional PartTime Associate Veterinarian to join our team in San Antonio TX. we are committed to providing highquality compassionate care to pets and their families in a collaborative teamoriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality medical care to a variety of small animal patients including diagnosis treatment and surgery.
- Perform routine wellness exams preventive care and vaccinations for pets.
- Conduct diagnostics and interpret results from laboratory tests radiographs and other diagnostic tools.
- Develop treatment plans for both emergency and ongoing care cases.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to explain treatment options procedures and aftercare.
- Work collaboratively with support staff including technicians and receptionists to ensure exceptional patient care and service.
- Participate in the practices continuous improvement efforts by contributing ideas implementing best practices and supporting a positive work environment.
- Stay current with new developments in veterinary medicine and procedures through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience in small animal medicine preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with both clients and pets.
- Ability to handle a variety of medical cases and provide highlevel care under pressure.
