Position Overview:
As an SQL Developer Intern you will assist in the development management and optimization of SQL queries databases and data workflows. You will work closely with our data engineering and development teams to improve data systems and ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data retrieval reporting and analysis.
- Support the creation and maintenance of databases and tables.
- Work with team members to ensure data consistency and integrity across various systems.
- Perform routine data quality checks and cleanup tasks.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues.
- Assist in the documentation of database procedures queries and reports.
- Collaborate with other teams to support datadriven projects and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server).
- Familiarity with database design querying and data manipulation.
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
- A passion for learning new technologies and improving your SQL skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with advanced SQL concepts like joins subqueries stored procedures and triggers.
- Familiarity with database optimization techniques and performance tuning.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
