Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Junior Data Analyst to join our remote team in the Financial Services industry. As a Junior Data Analyst you will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting financial data to support decisionmaking processes. This parttime position offers flexibility and an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and interpret large sets of data
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Google Sheets
Basic knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a remote team environment
Responsibilities:
Collecting financial data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy and completeness
Analyzing financial information using Excel or other data analysis tools
Identifying trends or patterns within the collected data that could impact business decisions
Preparing reports summarizing findings from data analysis for management review
Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to provide insights based on analyzed data
Assisting senior analysts with adhoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Mathematics Statistics or related field preferred (or currently pursuing)
Entrylevel experience in a similar role is desirable but not required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Prior knowledge of the Financial Services industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is beneficial but not mandatory.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
