Job Details:
Job Title: Salesforce Architect
Client: State of Vermont
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months


Scope Of Work:
Senior Salesforce Application design and development services for functional enhancements application refactoring and bug remediation of the States existing SEBT Salesforce Application. The State is open to hiring one or more resource types to support this work. If bidders resource plan entails more than one resource type (e.g. developer sr. developer developer lead architect tester etc. please provide the hourly rate for each resource type in your proposal. The State expects the majority of the work to be SF application development but some application design work may be required.

Overview:
The State has implemented a Constituent Engagement Platform environment that supports applications across many State Agencies. The States Constituent Engagement Platform includes Salesforce SimpliGov and supporting tools and technologies such as MuleSoft and Microsoft Power Platform and includes integrations with various 3rd party applications that sync data into the States Constituent Engagement platform.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce application development
  • Note that the State of Vermont has automated Salesforce code scans where all code changes must pass these scans to proceed in the States automated deployment pipeline (using the Copado DevOps Platform).
  • Software development unit and system integration testing.
  • Updating the standard State of Vermont Salesforce Application documentation as needed (e.g. application design document data dictionary configuration workbook and Delegate Admin User Guide).
  • Provide demos and training to the Agile SEBT team and DCF Customers.
  • Provide weekly status reports on assigned tasks and duties.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and test case generation.
  • Support the generation of automated regression tests.
  • Support the environmental backpromotion process resulting from changes in other applications in the States Salesforce environment.
  • Use of the States Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool (Azure DevOps) to track all work under the SOW and
  • The contractor agrees to the nonfunctional requirements (NFRs see below) as related to application security and other general NFRs unless inapplicable to the solution or waived by ADS in writing.
  • Deliverables shall align with existing platform documentation including any standardized formats and content configuration workbook release notes deployment checklists and governance process inputs.
  • Development resources must have significant previous experience in implementing Salesforce applications with preference given for prior experience working with state governments.
  • All products and services provided to or for the use of the State under this Contract shall be in compliance with State of Vermont Cybersecurity Standard 2301 which is available online.
