Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Hygienist with perio experience to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. This position will be 4 days a week with 2 days clinical and 2 days nonclinical.

Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning scaling and polishing teeth

Take and develop dental xrays

Conduct oral cancer screenings

Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for athome care

Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed

Document patient treatment plans progress notes and medical history accurately

Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality

Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment

Maintain and update dental records

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting

Experience in Perio and SRP

Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry

Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols

Ability to take accurate vital signs and maintain detailed medical records
