Position Summary
Westhaven Golf Club is seeking a parttime Golf Retail Clerk to join our dynamic team in Franklin TN.
Golf Retail Clerkis a parttime position for 1628 hours per week (up to 4 shifts per week).General golf knowledge is a plus. Must be a strong communicator and comfortable interacting with customers over the phone and in person. A uniform allowance is provided. Weekend availability is a must (Saturday and/or Sunday). Can be flexible on work schedule. Discounted meal plans are available while on duty.$12$14 per hour commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and reconciling the daily tee sheet
- Operating a point of sale
- Taking reservations over the phone for advanced tee times
- Problem solving
- Organizing folding hanging and assisting with merchandise displays
- Maintaining clean workspace and orderly shopping experience
- Assist with bimonthly inventory and maintain par levels of merchandise
- Special order assistance for members and guests
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (minimal)
- Must be able to stand for 68 hours
The position has golf course and practice range access (space available during nonpeak times and closed days) with Head Golf Professional approval. Discounts on merchandise.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- A Service Heart
- Knowledge of golf course rules and etiquette
- Ability to read and speak English required to perform the duties of the job
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
Typical hospitality environment frequently standing and walking. Lifting up to at least 50 lbs.
