Job Description

Description

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse to use acquired knowledge and skills in medication administration with standards of clinical practice and pertinent federal and state regulations. To assist other staff to ensure consistent quality of service to meet the needs and care goals of Health Center residents. Responsible to provide medication administration duties in a timely manner interact politely and professionally with residents families visitors and staff. Functions under the supervision of licensed staff.



Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent with Nursing Assistant Registration and Medication Administration course completion is required. Experience of working with the geriatric population is preferred. Must be able to work under the supervision of licensed staff. Requires good communication and human relation skills to interact with Health Service and Charter House staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress. Work flexible hours which could include days evenings nights holidays and weekends. Must be 18 years old.
