Job Description
Our consulting firm is looking for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in both AWS and Azure to help drive transformative projects for a diverse range of clients. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will play a crucial role in automating processes enhancing system reliability and scaling infrastructures to meet the demands of enterprisegrade applications. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment enjoys clientfacing engagements and is passionate about leveraging cloud infrastructure to optimize business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software development.
- Manage and configure AWS and Azure cloud environments for performance security and costefficiency.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers and architects to define infrastructure requirements and best practices.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or ARM templates.
- Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Drive DevOps culture by advocating for automation continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of DevOps experience with handson expertise in both AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or ARM.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch Azure Monitor).
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance and issue resolution.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC2 GDPR).
- Certification in AWS and/or Azure DevOps Engineer.
