The Department of Biological Sciences at Rutgers UniversityNewark invites applications for a tenured/tenuretrack Assistant Associate or Full Professor in the broadly defined field of cellular and molecular biology. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent and are expected to have already established a robust federallyfunded research program investigating dynamic cellular processes including but not limited to signaling pathways in development and injury regulation of membrane/protein/ RNA trafficking and transcriptional and epigenetic variations in normal and disease states; and will be expected to contribute to the teaching mission of the Department. Successful applicants will receive generous startup support laboratory space and have access to the Departments excellent imaging facilities and a myriad of core facilities within Rutgers.
