Description
At our hospices we aim to provide the best possible service to those requiring end of life care. As part of this we are looking for a qualified volunteer beauty and relaxation volunteer to pamper our patients by providing hand care hand massage and facials and giving them time and attention and making a difference to their lives.
Your role will include some of but is not restricted to the following tasks:
- Carry out facial manicure or pedicure treatments as appropriate ensuring that patients are comfortable at all times
- Consult staff on patients likely to benefit from treatments
- Chat to patients
- Follow a set procedure for treatments as agreed with staff
- Keep the treatment area clean and tidy
- Make arrangements for any subsequent treatments in consultation with Day Services staff
- Help with other related tasks when necessary
