Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Content and Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media storytelling and brand communication. This internship will provide valuable experience in content creation social media management and digital marketing strategies.
- Content Creation:
- Assist in developing engaging and original content for various platforms including blog posts articles newsletters and social media posts.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics videos and other multimedia content.
- Research industry trends audience preferences and competitor activities to inform content strategy.
- Social Media Management:
- Support the management of social media accounts (e.g. Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn TikTok) by scheduling posts monitoring engagement and responding to comments/messages.
- Help develop and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness engagement and follower growth.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve performance and engagement.
- Community Engagement:
- Interact with the online community and foster positive relationships with followers and influencers.
- Participate in online conversations to build brand presence and customer loyalty.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist with email marketing campaigns including content creation segmentation and performance analysis.
- Conduct research to support marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for growth.
- Help organize and promote events webinars and other marketing activities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing Communications Journalism or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g. Hootsuite Buffer).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Enthusiastic proactive and eager to learn.
- Must be able to do their internship onsite.
