Job Description
Oregon Institute of Technology an Oregon public university is seeking candidates for an academic fulltime Assistant Professor position for The College of Engineering Management and Technology in the Department of Computer Systems Engineering Technology located on the Klamath Falls campus. A qualified applicant should have a strong background in C in addition to practical experience in training deep networks as used in industry. As a small department faculty are expected to teach freshman through senior level classes. This individual would also be expected to cover classes from some of the following areas: network programming design patterns software engineering methodologies project management cloud development or graphical user interfaces/user experience. To be clear we are not expecting one individual with all of these skillsets but these are the areas where we could use some additional help. While the primary job duties are teaching and advising this tenure track position has additional institutional and professional development expectations that allow for a robust professional work environment. Professional development may include but is not limited to the publication of scholarly works applied research collaboration with industrial partners grant writing or consulting activities. Institutional service may include oncampus committee membership and participation in departmental initiatives.

Experience teaching in higher education. Industry experience
