Key Responsibilities: Fabrication Planning & : Prepare and review fabrication drawings and structural layouts for refinery civil structures (e.g. pipe racks equipment supports platforms). Develop and implement fabrication plans in line with project schedules. Ensure adherence to ASME API ASTM and other relevant standards for oil & gas construction. Coordination & Supervision: Coordinate with design procurement and site teams to ensure timely fabrication and delivery. Supervise workshop activities including cutting welding fitting assembly and quality inspection of fabricated components. Ensure correct installation of fabricated items at site as per engineering drawings and specifications. Quality Assurance & Control: Conduct inspections and verification of fabrication processes and finished products. Ensure all works comply with the project s QA/QC plans and standards. Liaise with thirdparty inspectors and client representatives for fabrication approval and certification. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with HSE standards during fabrication and installation. Promote a safetyfirst culture in fabrication yards and construction sites. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain fabrication logs material traceability welding logs and inspection reports. Prepare progress reports and highlight risks or bottlenecks in fabrication timelines. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5 10 years of relevant experience in fabrication engineering within civil construction in oil & gas refinery projects. Strong knowledge of structural steel design fabrication techniques and refinery construction codes. Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD Tekla STAAD Pro or similar.
