Experience: Minimum 4 years in quantity estimation and related responsibilities Key Responsibilities: 1.Quantity Estimation: oAccurately estimate quantities from construction drawings and technical documents. oPerform field measurements to validate and crosscheck quantities onsite. 2.Measurement Sheet Preparation: oPrepare and maintain detailed measurement sheets for project activities. oEnsure measurement sheets align with project drawings specifications and standards. 3.Reconciliation of Materials: oConduct material reconciliation to track and report on material usage and wastage. oCollaborate with the procurement team to optimize material usage and inventory. 4.Cost Analysis: oAssist in cost estimation and budgeting for project activities. oSupport in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and rate analysis for tenders. 5.Documentation and Reporting: oMaintain proper documentation of all quantityrelated data including work progress and material consumption. oGenerate progress reports for internal teams and stakeholders. 6.Site Coordination: oCoordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure accurate of work as per estimated quantities. oResolve discrepancies between field measurements and drawings. 7.Compliance and Quality Checks: oEnsure all quantityrelated processes comply with project specifications and industry standards. oCrosscheck quality and specifications of work during site visits. 8.Software Proficiency: oWork proficiently with AutoCAD for quantity takeoffs and drawing reviews. oUtilize MS Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint) for data management reporting and presentations. 9.Communication and Coordination: oCommunicate effectively with clients consultants subcontractors and project teams to address queries related to quantities and measurements. oAssist in the preparation of tender documents contracts and invoices. 10.Risk Assessment and ProblemSolving: oIdentify potential risks related to quantities and suggest mitigation strategies. oAddress and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to quantity estimation and reconciliation. Key Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with various stakeholders. Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying or a related field. Preferred Qualities: Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to work. Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure. Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and industry practices. Work Location: Project sites with occasional visits to the head office or client locations.
