Job Description
Job Title: Network Support Engineer
Location: Dublin 8 (Hybrid working Model)
Contract / Permanent: 12 Months with further extension. Start date: 3rd June 2025.
Experience Level Required:
It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed for this Role has the equivalent of Senior level experience (i.e. has 7 years experience) in this Role.
Qualification/s:
It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed hold the following qualifications or equivalents:
Professional certifications such as CCNP JNCIP or HPE SD/WAN deployment professional (or similar).
Key Deliverable:
The following nonexhaustive list of Key Deliverables are applicable to this Role.
Design deploy and manage complex network infrastructures within data centres with a strong emphasis on BGP eVPN environments.
Configure monitor and maintain HPE Comware switches and related equipment.
Troubleshoot network issues ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with other teams to implement solutions that support business goals and network optimization.
Maintain and update network documentation.
Implement and maintain best practices for network security and performance.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and for network systems.
Participate in network planning and capacity management.
Evaluate and apply any necessary security patches hotfixes hardware and firmware updates.
Provide technical support for networkrelated problems.
Develop and enhance the HPe IMC Orchestrator and Analyser platform.
Experience with HPE Intelligent Management Centre (IMC).
Familiarity with data centre environments and operations.
Knowledge of softwaredefined networking (SDN) is a plus.
Incident analysis and resolution
Developing custom reports as required.
Resource and Capacity Planning.
Documentation of critical tasks.
Operating within an ITIL environment

Maintain and update network documentation.
Implement and maintain best practices for network security and performance.
Network firmware and hardware updates/upgrade
The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.
