POSITION SUMMARY:
Instructor will teach contentspecific grammar spelling pronunciation vocabulary and composition.Guides students on contentspecific conversation. Teach students about contentspecific language literature culture and history.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating engaging lesson plans;planning classroom activities to motivate students; preparing visual aids; grading homework and exams; coaching students individually or as a group.
Communicating with parents and other teachers about a students progress; and other tasks as assigned.
Providing specific and timely feedback on academic efforts behavior and work quality
and maintaining a classroom that is designed and organized for maximal student learning.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree or higher required.
Minimum of one 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
Certification by the State of Georgia in Education T4 to T7 and content area specialization as required by the GaPSC.
Normal classroom/school setting.
Must be able to stand and walk approximately seven 7 to seven and onehalf 7 hours per day. Light duty On most occasions sitting at a desk or table; intermittently sitting standing or stooping. Light lifting or carrying; twenty 20 lbs. or less.
