As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our care teams by providing highquality costeffective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Inpatient Medical Oncology Consults to:
- Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of oncology patients with acute chronic and/or potential health problems.
- Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care needs.
- Manage independent inpatient clinical practice and coverage for collaborating physicians as part of the inpatient oncology consult team.
- Perform initial consult history and physical develop manage and modify treatment plans of patients with acute health problems.
- Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with attending or consulting team in order to adjust plans of care.

Education:
If Nurse Practitioner:Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.
Work Experience:
Preferred Two 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Pediatric Acute Care and RN First Assist
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
