Job Description
Essential Functions:
We are seeking a highly creative and driven Designer to join our creative team.The Designer will work with multiple teams at Sally Beauty Holdings to conceive develop and create unique and engaging experiences across multiple channels both print & digital. The candidate should be a fountain of ideas for layout and design and possess the skill set to transform the best ideas into shopable userfriendly content assets for a strong succinct brand and customer experience.
You should be able to demonstrate with a proven track record of taking projects from creative concept to final delivery. A team player is a must with the ability to multitask and preplan projects whilst concluding others. This is a hybrid role reporting into the office in Denton TX on Tuesday and Weds of each week and working remotely the other days of the work week.

Primary Duties:
- Develop monthly omnichannel creative assets web banners landing pages emails social media (including organic & paid social) both still and animated as well as instore signage and environmental graphics.
- Ensurethat work is produced to a high quality with a consistent clear design adhering to the Sally brand aesthetic.
- Present creative work through the lens of creative strategy to partners and leadership team
- Highly motivated selfstarter detail and quality oriented and ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Provide overarching support to creative team members as necessary
- Partner with project managers copywriters designers and photo studio to ensure seamless integration with creative process and procedures while meeting reviews and deadlines
- Present creative work through the lens of creative strategy to partners and leadership team
- Highly motivated selfstarter detail and quality oriented and ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Provide overarching support to creative team members as necessary
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) interpersonal skills and experience
- Note: This role is hybrid (inoffice 2 days/week)
50 Print and digital design for Sally omnichannel campaigns and company initiatives
30 Motion design for paid social assets and organic social
10 Misc. Dept projects. Develops templates and style guide toolkits for use by internal creative team and vendors
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- BA in graphic design or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in digital and print 2 years in a corporate retail environment
- A portfolio with proven depth of experience (crosschannel activation and motion design examples)as well as your creativity and attention to quality and detail
- High proficiency in Photoshop Illustrator InDesign After Effects. Figma is a plus.
- Ability to effectively assess priorities and work well under tight deadlines
- Experience in Workfront or other project flow platforms
- Ability to take complicated inputs and translate them into simple customer experiences
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills deadline driven
Competencies/ Attributes:
- Resourceful adaptable dependable collaborative
- Strong attention to detail ability to multitask with accuracy and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Must be able to handle critique diplomatically turning feedback into edits that create strong content
- High proficiency Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects
Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices meeting and training rooms retail stores and residences or commercial vehicles e.g. use of safe work practices with office equipment avoidance of trips and falls observance of fire regulations and traffic signals etc. The work area is adequately lighted heated and ventilated.
- The work is sedentary. Typically the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers files books small parts; using a keyboard driving an automobile etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
