A Little About Us
Waterworks Aquatics is a premier swimming school with 39 locations across California and Colorado. We teach children ages 3 months through adult how to swim. Our mission is to educate and motivate individuals to be safer and learn proper swimming technique.
Job Description:
As a Seasonal Administrative Assistant for Waterworks Aquatics you will be charged with performing administratively oriented tasks to support the companys human resources and management team during our busiest season. This position is based out of our Pasadena facility and is available now through July 2025.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists with screening and interviewing applicants.
- Conducts audits on employee accounts to ensure compliance.
- Facilitates our onboarding processes with new hires.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies hiring processes training procedures etc.
- Performs periodic audits of files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to management.
- Assists with entry level marketing efforts.
- Assists with entry level recruiting efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
General Qualifications:
- Must be able to work at least one weekend day. Working both weekend days is a plus.
- Must be able to train out of our Irvine location for 35 days.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive information.
- Experience with interviewing is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to type 60 WPM experience with 10 key a plus.
- Must be results driven and showcase ability to meet project deadlines.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be able to show initiative in the completion of tasks.
- Must always carry themselves in a professional manner.
- Has a positive and upbeat personality.
- Demonstrates impeccable follow through.
- Selfstarter and takes initiative on projects.
- Numerical ability and data entry skills.
- Available now through July 2025

Compensation: $20.00 $24.00 per hour
