Job Description
Your role at St John of God Accord
We are seeking applications for an Accountant to join our Finance Team at Accord on a permanent fulltime basis. Reporting to and supporting the Finance Manager the role plays a key role in supporting the management and oversight of the organisations financial operations. This includes ensuring the accuracy compliance and efficiency of financial reporting transactions and budgeting.
You will under direction from the Finance Manager develop key relationship point with Group Shared Services the Accountant will maintain the Divisions interaction to ensure an outstanding relationship underpins outstanding service to the Division.
The Position
Provide support in the preparation of business plans and annual budgets.
Assist with monthly quarterly and annual closing processes to ensure that financial records are complete and accurate.
Assist in the preparation for external audits
Assist in the management of client accounts living in supported accommodation)
Preparation of timely and accurate reporting and analysis on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
Assist with the management of Fixed Assets Register.
Assist with the management of Accounts Receivables ledger.
Provide support to improve Shared Services Accounting effectiveness and efficiency.
You will have tertiary qualifications in either Finance Commerce or a related discipline along with a solid working knowledge of month end deliverables and accounting practices and processes. The ideal applicant will posses excellent communication skills attention to detail and be proficient in Excel Word and Outlook.
Successful applicants must hold a current NDIS Screening Clearance.

We can offer you
Salary: $97689 to $102114 per annum plus 11.5 Superannuation
Permanent fulltime working 38 hours per week
