Job Description

TheMaintenance Supervisoris responsible for leading guiding and supporting the Maintenance Department to achieve its goals in maintaining repairing and replacing foundry and machining equipment as well as supporting systems and facility infrastructure. This handson role operates in a fastpaced production environment requires a proactive individual who is willing and able to work alongside employees daily.

Salary Range:$80000 $110000

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the companys base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors including but not limited to the physical worksite location the geographic market of that location candidates skill set level of experience education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute supervisory responsibilities including but not limited to: planning assigning and directing work; adhering to Company policies and procedures; managing attendance; interviewing onboarding and training employees; overseeing performance; administering corrective actions; and proactively addressing employee concerns to maintain high morale and maximize employee satisfaction.
  • Facilitate promote and implement lean initiatives that drive continuous improvements in safety quality and cost in the maintenance operations. Lead and/or participate in Kaizen events and GEMBA go and see walks. Participate in daily team meetings and problemsolving sessions.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with the plants Safety Policy and state and federal OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to manage work orders and PMs within the CMMS and order parts as required to ensure work is supported in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate facility and equipment problems provide guidance and assistance with resolving issues including technical support and instruction for uncommon procedures. Continuously seek out and recommend measures to improve efficiency reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Ensure seamless shift to shift transitions occur with meticulous attention to detail tailored to the specific tasks as necessary.

  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changes in internal processes delays or unexpected events to keep the operation production ready.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle proprietary and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours including weekends as required to support customer needs.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 2 plus years of maintenance leadership experience or
  • HS Diploma or GEDrequired
  • Advanced vocational or technical trainingpreferred
  • 5 year work history in a Maintenance position. Leadership experience preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office software applications (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements

  • This position works in a Manufacturing environment typically indoors but may require access to outdoors for work at times and includes exposure to dust particles.
  • The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk stand bend and twist; see hear and talk; use fingers and hands with good hand and finger dexterity to handle or feel controls or products; use hands and arms to reach hold and carry product.
  • Lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs. is required. Exposure to elevated heights up to 20 feet.
  • This position also requires a person to handle different temperatures n the work environment. This position may also require a person to stand for long periods of time up to 10 hours. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to be worn during shift.
