About the Position
This position will be assigned to a district kitchen where needed. The Food Service Employee is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the breakfast and lunch meal service which may include preparing breakfast and lunch items; setting up equipment and serving menu items for breakfast or lunch; taking down cleaning and storing serving equipment; operating a dish machine and ensuring dishes are properly sanitized; serving as cashier during meal service and maintaining freezers storerooms and refrigerators in an orderly manner. The successful candidate will have a significant amount of interaction with other kitchen staff and may interact with students teachers other building administrators and parents requiring the ability to work as a member of the central kitchen team and interact effectively with a wide variety of people.

Required Qualifications

A Snohomish Health Department food workers card is required.

Salary
Food Service Salary Schedule: $23.91 per hour. Additional step increases from $23.91 to $25.21 dependent on employerapproved training.

Benefits
