The team is a closeknit highly skilled group thats fantastic to work with. They handle interesting diverse tasks across multiple services giving you the chance to work on both backend (in Python and Java using Kafka and AWS) and frontend (with React). This variety allows you to develop a broad skill set grow as a specialist and make a meaningful impact in a supportive collaborative environment.
You will be working with both an existing system and the development of new services. You will be maintaining and improving the current system while also focusing on building new features and services.
You will have an opportunity to work on essential product features that directly impact users and business outcomes. This environment empowers team members to take ownership develop new skills and expand their capabilities positioning them well for future professional opportunities.
Your tasks will include:
- Working with minimal supervision to implement complex methods and procedures within assigned problem domain
- Owning the development test and deployment for an entire product
- Estimating new work with consideration and commitment
- Sharing knowledge of technical skills patterns and practices with the rest of the team
- Working with business partners outside of your team to explain and champion highlevel technology approaches
- Having a good understanding of the existing architecture and current limitations
- Suggesting architectural solutions for new features
To be a good fit for the Senior Fullstack Developer role you will have:
- 5 years developing in Python (web applications)
- Experience JavaScript and React(Vue.js or Angular could be an option as well)
- Experience with AWS or any other cloud provider infrastructure (Lambda API Gateway Kinesis S3 EC2 DynamoDB SQS OpenSearch)
- Proven experience writing quality code and tests that are maintainable accurate welltested and follow best practices
- Handson experience with software development practices and can develop applications that are diverse in scope where good judgement and problemsolving skills are required
Nice to have:
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience in distributed systems
- Experience with Docker and configuration management
- Experience with Java
