Responsibilities:
- IV access and lab draws
- Wound care irrigation and dressings
- Applies splints assesses sensation color and circulation of affected extremity before and after splint placement cspine and spinal restriction monitors airway and patient.
- Transports stable patients to admitting units lab radiology etc.; Assists with transport of unstable patients when required.
- EKG cardiac and vital sign monitors O2 delivery devices Doppler Capnometer etc.
- Monitors and documents vital signs including O2 sat pain level and temperature and communicates such with nurse midlevel and/or physician.
- Review patients paper or electronic chart for orders and treatments. Assists other staff to ensure that orders are seen taken off in process and that documentation is ongoing in the patients record. Especially be alert for IV lab work splint needs and other tasks as appropriate.
- Assures patient care areas triage and waiting room are well stocked clean equipment is in order and needed supplies are available. Trash and linens are removed in an ongoing manner. Assists Environmental Services with linen stocking and placing blankets in warmer. Assists Materials Management with stocking of supplies.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one 1 year of related experience preferred.
- EMT Basic Intermediate or Paramedic License
- Current BLS
- IV Certification
Compensation:
- EMT I$22.00 $25.30 per hour depending on education and experience.
- EMT II$23.00 $26.45 per hour depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses relocation expenses merit increase market adjustments recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
Additional Information:
- Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction CO 81505 before starting work.
