Job Description
Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) School is located in Kamloops BC. The school enrolls approximately 160 students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven. OLPH is seeking applications from candidates to fill a temporary fulltime teaching position commencing September 1 2025 until June 30th 2026.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- An active membership in a catholic parish
- A commitment to excellence in Catholic education
- A Bachelor of Education Degree
- A valid BC Certification
- Demonstrated successful experience in Elementary education
- Wellversed in the ability to integrate Catholic teaching and culture in the classroom
- Aptitude to differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Knowledge of current instructional practices and the renewed curriculum
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability while working collaboratives as a team member
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of current instructional strategies and assessment methods
- Excellent and proven classroom management skills
- Exceptional communication strategies with students staff and parents
- A genuine sense of joy in teaching and learning
- A desire to provide leadership of extracurricular activities

Please note this position will be open to external candidates as of April 15 2025.

- a cover letter noting their experience commitment to and philosophy of Catholic education;
- a CISKD Teacher application form along with its required supportive documentation; and
- a Confidential Pastoral Reference Form completed by a Catholic pastor for all Teacher applicants.
