This role provides valuable handson experience in HR processes allowing interns to gain a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and contribute to the smooth operation of the department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in HR operations and gain insight into our companys approach to payroll recruiting and employee development.
Responsibilities
- File and organize the employee file room.
- Confirm candidates availability and schedule interviews.
- Gathers and organizes job applications.
- Administration and organization of job applications
- Post update and remove job ads from job boards careers pages and social networks.
- Prepare HRrelated reports as needed (like training budgets by department)
- Writes employee communications and correspondence about updates in HR policies.
- Assists with overall compliance with labor codes and applicable local and state laws.
- Participates and assists in career days and company social and networking events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level or recent graduate preferred course of study to include Psychology Human Resources Communications or related.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Demonstrate professional work ethic.
- Maintain flexible work schedule.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Pay and Benefits
