The Opportunity
As part of our growth strategy Hitachi Energy is embarking on a multiyear project (Reiwa) to upgrade our core ERP systems to singleinstance SAP S/4HANA. We aim to standardize our IT application landscape and digitize our business processes to meet the needs of our expanding business. We are creating a BU HV SAP Center of Expertise (CoE) to work closely with Local Business Process Owners (LBPOs) in the business Hubs organize the work of all our Key Users drive system deployment and utilization to its full potential and prioritize harmonized requirements from the business towards IT teams / Hitachi Energys global SAP CoE.
How Youll Make an Impact
Drive full adoption of the deployed SAP project framework (Project Cockpit) and functionalities in the local units utilizing the full potential of the deployed solution and related business benefits
Collaborate with SAP Business Process Owners from all regions to drive global harmonization of business processes process improvements and prioritization of related system requirements
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation using SAP solutions
Work with Local Business Process Owners and Key Users to understand their highest priority challenges monitor system usage and performance gather feedback from users and proactively seek ways to enhance and evolve SAP processes for maximum efficiency
Proactively address user pain points when using the SAP system by resolving issues on the ground and ensuring all change requests have sufficient information and technical language for quick implementation
Enable key users to become the goto source of knowledge for the SAP system at the site through upskilling and functional training
Assist with the creation of SAP training materials to ensure ongoing and effective use of the application and supporting tools. Provide training on new SAP processes and functionalities
Your Background
Bachelors degree in information technology or engineering or equivalent work experience
Strong knowledge of the S4/HANA platform preferred. SAP Certifications preferred
Experience with project management in the manufacturing and industrial service industry
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment in a global multinational team
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to quickly identify root causes of issues
A collaborative solutionsoriented approach and strong communication skills
