Job Summary
The Evergreen State College seeks a quartertime faculty member to teach courses in marketing and advertising for academic year 2025/26. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of psychological and sociological theories of persuasion as well as datadriven approaches to marketing strategy and message construction. While the exact focus of the courses will depend on the expertise of the successful candidate we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in developing successful digital and social media marketing materials with complementary academic expertise. The courses will be part of Evergreens school of Professional and Continuing Education and will be scheduled in the evenings or on weekends. The courses may be taught either in person or remotely. This position allows for remote instruction and thus does not require teaching on our physical campus in Olympia Washington. However a condition of employment is that you have residency in one of the following states: California Florida New York Oregon Texas or Washington State and teach remotely from that state.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in marketing/advertising/communication (or related field). OR at least five years experience as a marketing professional with experience leading digital marketing campaigns Experience teaching collegelevel courses or professionallevel trainings.
