Sitka Land Operations
UnCruise Adventures operates five vessels from April through September in Southeast Alaska. One vessel docks in Sitka biweekly on Saturdays. Sika Land Operations team works to assist the vessel and guests with their various needs from provisioning support to luggage movement with a constant focus on guest service and vessel support.
UnCruise Adventures is headquartered in Seattle Washington with a satellite office in Juneau Alaska.
Job Summary
The Guest Services Representative is responsible for assisting vessel guests at our hospitality suite. Guests will either be arriving for or departing from their cruise and this position will be the goto person for airport transfers luggage checkin and aroundtown advice. Guest Service Representatives report to the Land Operations Manager in Juneau.

This position will be physically demanding. Bending climbing repetitive motion and heavy lifting of loads up to 50 pounds or more are requirements of this position. This position requires long hours of standing and being on your feet.

Job Summary

Schedule and Pay Range
- This position is inperson landbased in Sitka Alaska. Accommodation and relocation will not be provided.
- This position starts in May 2025 and ends in September 2025 approximately a6 month position).
- $24.00 $28.00 per hour Depending on Experience. Compensation for this parttime (seasonal) position will be at an hourly rate for a total of 8 10hours per week on Saturdays only.
Essential Duties
- Host and maintain the hospitality suite including collect and tag guest luggage maintain the guest manifest and ensure the space meets high company standards.
- Provide a high level of customer service to guests to ensure they have a pleasant pre or postcruise experience
- Coordinate with the Juneau Land Manager to support all troubleshooting logistics and customer service issues with transportation vendors as needed.
- Maintain and report inventory of collateral material associated with the hospitality suite.
- Assist with unloading incoming and loading outgoing luggage movements to/from the vessels and airport.
Qualifications
- Must be able to staff the hospitality suite every other Saturdaysfrom 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (with a hour lunch break) from May through September.
- 12 years experience in a customer service focused position dealing with highly educated and affluent clientele.
- Knowledge of Sitka and the surrounding areas including restaurants and excursions
- Excel in problem solving and logistical skills.
- Detail oriented and thorough; able to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Ability to get along well with coworkers and support a team environment.
