Who are we looking for
In response to steady growth within our Water/Wastewater business our team group in Columbia SC is looking to bring onboard a motivated Senior Project Manager to help with the continued development and growth of GHDs Water Business in the South Carolina Area. You will also provide technical leadership and delivery of major water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects for our clients throughout Carolinas.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Performbusinessdevelopmentsalesandmarketingwithaspecificfocusonlargeclientsin South Carolina and surrounding areas
- Provideleadershiponprojectsrelatedtomasterplanssewersystemevaluationsandassessmentpump station design pipeline design and treatment plant upgrades
- Performandleadthetechnicalandproductionworkoftheteamadministeringcontractualaspectsofthe project and acting as primary contact for client
- EstablishprojectdeliverystrategyanddevelopjobmanagementplanQAplansecuringresources establishing work briefs and budgets
- Prepareandmonitorprojectbudgetsandschedulesforexistingprojects
- Participateinrecruitingofnewstaff
- ParticipateinbusinessdevelopmentandmarketingstrategiesspecifictotheCarolinas.
- Developpricingscopingandwinstrategiesfornewwork
- Mentorteammembersandassessworkassignmentsprovidedirectionandtrainingasneededtoteam members
- Manageallcommunicationpertainingtotechnicalandcontractprojectissuesforclientmeetings
- Conductworktoappropriateprofessionalstandards andtothefirmsQA/QCrequirements.Participatein QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers.
- Preparedesigncomputationsandopinionsofprobableconstructioncost
- Preparationofreportsspecificationsdrawingsconstructionschedulesandpermitsforwater/wastewater design projects
- Directteamofsubjectarealeadsforthedevelopmentofdesignandconstructiondocuments
- CollaboratewithServiceLineLeadersandProjectManagerswithinandoutsidetheRegiononwork sharing and business development
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelorsand/orMastersdegreeinCivilorEnvironmentalEngineering
- ProfessionalEngineer(PE)license(inSouthCarolinaaplus)
- Minimum 15yearsof experience(morethan 20years aplus)in planningdesignandconstructionof waterandwastewaterinfrastructureand/ortreatmentfacilities (withatleast5yearsservingclientsin South Carolina and surrounding area a plus).
- Excellentwrittenandoralcommunicationskillswithprovenabilitytodevelopmentorandlead
professionaltechnicalstaff
- Strongbusinessdevelopmentproposalpreparationandmarketingskills.Flexibleandabletomeet challenging deadlines
- Astandoutcolleaguewithastrongclientfocus
