1. Perform emergency repairs to school buildings and equipment.2. Participate in semiannual and annual preventive maintenance inspections on all building systems.3. Keep the Facilities Manager informed of the progress of the work and any significant developments as they occur.4. Identify and correct health and safety issues in a timely manner.5. Keep work areas clean and clear of debris.6. Perform corrective action and preventive maintenance regarding building systems.7. Assist in the development ongoing updating and implementation of the building preventive maintenance plan.8. Assure compliance with building health and safety codes.9. Perform energy management duties in electrical lighting HVAC plumbing controls building envelope infrastructures and equipment.10. Perform other miscellaneous related duties as required by the Facilities Manager.
