We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help keep our trucks running smoothly and trailers in working order.
Job Summary:
The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical skills a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring our vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Repair or replace defective components such as tires brakes and etc.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs performed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Basic knowledge of diesel mechanics preferably in a trucking or transportation environment.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and read schematics.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various conditions.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license; CDL preferred but not required.

Hours:
Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm with overtime required as needed.
