Business Development Trainee Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Handling Inbound Calls & Lead Qualification Answer inbound inquiries from potential clients via calls emails and web forms. Understand client requirements and assess their digital marketing needs. Qualify leads based on budget business needs and service compatibility. Maintain detailed records of inquiries in LMS for followups
2. Outbound Lead Generation
Proactively identify and generate leads through various channels. Utilize Google My Business (GMB) to attract and engage local leads. Perform LinkedIn outreach to connect with potential clients and decisionmakers. Develop personalized outreach strategies to generate interest and schedule meetings. Independently research and find new business opportunities outside inbound inquiries.
3. Lead Identification & Nurturing
Identify highpotential leads from inbound inquiries. Segment leads based on industry budget and urgency. Follow up with leads through calls emails and messages to nurture them. Convert qualified leads into potential sales opportunities
4. Competitor Research & Market Analysis
Research competitors digital marketing strategies Identify trends strengths and weaknesses in competitor approaches. Provide a proven strategy to initiate digital marketing effectively.
5. Proposal Creation & Sharing
Customize proposals based on client requirements and pain points. Powerpoint Presentations for pitch deck creation. Ensure all necessary details including Competitor research keyword research pricing and service scope are covered. Share proposals with potential clients and follow up for feedback.
6. Scheduling & Conducting Meetings (Online & Offline)
Coordinate with the manager/business owner and schedule meetings with qualified prospects. Arrange and manage both online (video calls Zoom Google Meet etc. and offline (inperson) meetings as per client preference. Directly visit clients for meetings when required to close deals faster. Provide necessary briefing to the manager before meetings. Document discussions and action points from meetings for further followup. Follow up on progress and clarify any doubts. Arrange followup meetings with the manager for doubt clearance.
