Key Responsibilities

As theElectrical Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the electrical work within a team of electricians ensuring all projects are executed safely efficiently and within deadlines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership & Coordination:

    • Supervise and coordinate electricians daily tasks and schedules ensuring that projects are completed according to plans and specifications.
    • Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical electrical issues that arise onsite.
  • Electrical Design & Systems Organization:

    • Design and organize wiring diagrams conduit systems and electrical panel placements ensuring optimal system layout and compliance with regulations.
    • Lead the team in the installation of electrical systems that meet operational needs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Safety & Compliance:

    • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and electrical codes to ensure the wellbeing of all team members and the integrity of electrical systems.
    • Provide ongoing safety training to electricians reinforcing best practices and safety standards on every project.
  • Project Oversight & Performance Monitoring:

    • Track project timelines ensuring that work progresses as scheduled and within budgetary constraints.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all electrical work adheres to established quality standards and project requirements.
  • Material Procurement & Resource Management:

    • Manage the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for electrical installations ensuring timely availability and efficient resource utilization.
    • Oversee inventory control ensuring that supplies are properly managed and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

To excel in this role candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further electrical certifications or training would be considered an asset.
    • At least 5 years of handson experience in electrical installation wiring and troubleshooting with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in the field.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams schematics and plans.
    • Indepth knowledge of electrical codes regulations and safety standards with the ability to ensure compliance on all projects.
    • Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to quickly address and resolve electrical issues onsite.
  • Key Competencies:

    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of electricians.
    • Strong problemsolving abilities capable of addressing challenges effectively and efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
    • Possession of a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
