Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma (or GED and 1.5 years fulltime related work experience OR two years of postsecondary education and six months fulltime related work experience. Excellent verbal/communication skills. Must be able to review comprehend and comply with all standard operating procedures. Considerable knowledge of applicable rules and regulations involving the husbandry of laboratory animals. Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician certification from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science. Must possess a valid United States drivers license for at least one year and maintain eligibility to operate University motor vehicles.
