Job Description
Were looking for a few highlyskilled automotive technicians to join our Service team at our Buick GMC Cadillac store in Gonzales. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Our service department is among the highest rated in the entire region and we fully expect our techs to uphold that elite reputation that has made our service department such an awardwinning success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean
Roadtest vehicles to ensure of quality repair
Document work performed on back of repair order

Ideal candidates will have:

Two years automotive mechanical experience or automotive trade school
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to exercise good judgment
Valid drivers license and good driving record
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have technical aptitude displayed by ASE certification or successful completion of preemployment test
Technical or trade school degree preferred
Please note: special consideration will be given to those with GM experience.
