JOB OVERVIEW
As Technical Sales Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing technical support to the sales team to develop sell and successfully implement KONE products and service solutions that meet customers needs. He/she takes ownership of the order handling process in terms of prospecting/tendering/defining specifications details traffic calculations dimensions CAD and layout drawings and estimation of installation and delivery times and costs. He/she answers customers technical questions and supports the Salesperson with technical issues.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Customer relationship management
Supports the Salesperson by analyzing customers technical needs and develops proposals outlining how KONEs products and services can provide clear solutions to meet these needs.
Customer contact for technical questions. May participate in planning / specification meetings.
Technical sales support in the Customer process
Provides technical and costing support for the sales process
Coordinate specifications and delivery times with the Supply Line Sourcing or local subcontractors.
Accountable for solution engineering
Ensure that the proposed solution fulfils the codes regulations and safety requirements
Technical support in the Delivery process
Accountable for solution engineering
Organize the order documentation and order confirmation
Manage the drawing and related documents
Make the material specifications for KONE and local material. Checks and updates the specification based on contract and variations.
Organize the purchasing of the required material
Define the CMII level at 0b and at 2Z
Check the payment status before milestone 2
Technical Sales Support Manager (in addition to the above):
Evaluate sales proposals to ensure that they are technically accurate and consistent with the KONEs quality and price standards and that they align with the KONEs overall strategy for its products and services.
Develop and deliver sales presentations for customers who are of strategic importance.
Liaise with functional and operational leaders (for example in NEB SEB marketing or sales) to ensure that the technical sales support team is uptodate on new product developments and to share customer feedback and information on competitor activity so that KONE can modify its products and services to respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
May lead direct evaluate and develop a team of Technical Sales Support Specialists and Engineers.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Engineering or other relevant field
Min. 5 years experience from field
Working level of English
IT literacy
Holistic knowledge of products and delivery process handling tension between sales and supply
Good technical understanding of product and service solutions that meet the customer expectations.
Understands and has knowledge of norms and requirements that are applicable for each project.
Takes safety aspects into account and selects environmentally sustainable solutions when possible.

Annual Base Pay Range:
The hiring range for this role is $84000.00 $116000.00 USD. The compensation package offered will depend on the candidates ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to their skill set years and depth of experience certifications and location.
Variable Compensation
KONE Annual Bonus plan 50/50 @ 10 incentive target based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
