Currently we are looking for an experiencedMS SQL Database Administratorto join our clients team this role you will beresponsible for managing optimizing and securing database environments. You will ensure high performance availability and security of MS SQL databases while collaborating with development and administration teams.
Responsibilities:
- Database Administration Installation configuration and monitoring of MS SQL databases.
- Performance Optimization Query tuning performance analysis and server configuration.
- Backup & Recovery Implementing strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Automation Scripting and streamlining database processes.
- Troubleshooting Diagnosing and resolving databaserelated issues.
- Security Management Implementing security policies in compliance with industry standards.
- Scaling & High Availability Ensuring database scalability and disaster recovery.
- Documentation & Collaboration Maintaining technical documentation and working closely with IT teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in MS SQL Server database administration.
- Strong SQL query tuning and performance optimization skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring and analysis tools for MS SQL.
- Experience in database backup recovery and security.
- Ability to automate processes using PowerShell TSQL or similar.
- Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
