SUMMARY: The Internal Audit IT Intern is responsible for assisting with the evaluation and improvement of Strides control environment establishing a strong foundation for the internal audit function with policies and procedures and creating value for the business.

- Assist with Internal Audit status tracking.
- Audit controls as part of the overall Audit Plan
- Attend weekly meetings
- Ensure proper documentation of the results of audit and review evaluations as it relates to IT related controls.
- Provide recommendations to enhance and improve control procedures operations and automation.
- Perform other assignments as assigned by Internal Audit and/or management.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no current formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or starting a Masters/MBA program (major or concentration relevant to the position. (Information Technology Information Systems Computer Science Data Science Accounting Business Administration or Risk Management)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint etc.; Web proficiency
- Ability to clear the required background check
- Ability to commute into Strides HQ (Reston VA) on a hybrid schedule

This position will be a hybrid role (combination of remote/office); office location will be Reston VA. We anticipate a typical office setting including conversation light foot traffic computers etc.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride Inc. considers a persons education experience and qualifications as well as the positions work location expected quality and quantity of work required travel (if any) external market and internal value when determining a new employees salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors the positions level and expected contribution and the employees benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate this position will pay between $14.42 $28.85 per hour. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered as an individuals compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include but are not limited to geographic location experience training education and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
