Job Titles: Crane Operator Spruce Pine NC
Job Summary:
MOR PPM Inc. is seeking qualified crane operators for a project located in Spruce Pine NC. This job is per diem eligible.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Shall be able to operate crane to lift move and position loads.
- Observe load hookup and determine safety of load.
- Several documented years of experience running overhead cranes in a large industrial environment.
- Knowledge of and follow all OSHA standards in rigging material handling and signals.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Crane Operator.
- NCCCO Overhead Crane Operator certification required.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other jobrelated noises
- Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
